Arlene's MFA Computer Art Thesis at the School of Visual Arts. When Arlene first moved to New York, a graffiti artist was tagging "NeckFace" all over the neighborhoods she frequented. This made her think of chickens. Her own NeckFace is a meditation on time management by way of fowl imagery and Rumi's poetry. Special thanks to performers Ed Kulzer and David Briggs, who weren't afraid to run around and into Arlene's squishy, crusty, even slightly slimy video installations and robotic objects. (2004)
