This year, the one-day workshop included students from mechanical engineering and media lab, as well as a DUSP professor and a UX researcher from IBM. The morning session challenged all to get their bearings with Arduino, while the afternoon session offered drill-downs for folks who wanted to experiment with sensors. The one-day format may have been a bit too short for an open-ended play session, so maybe next year we will narrow the scope by designing a challenge for participants. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Arlene’s bag of environmental and bio sensors takes its second annual trip to Cambridge for the “Physical Computing and Urban Studies” workshop at the MIT Department of Urban Studies (DUSP).
